I keep getting calls from this number but they never leave a message. We are on a no-call list and these people should be fined !!

called about 10.00 and hung up.

They called us from a different number, tell us to call this one back. When you do they tell you they are from the FID (no such agency). They try to tell you that you have criminal charges against you or that you owe money. They are a SCAM!! They changes their names, and their numbers. I called the Houston Police today and am emailing them all the information so they can check this out. It is scarey to think someone could give them what they want.. DO NOT give them any personal information.

Got the call twice

Exact same email to me. "Thank you I received your email and I'm sure we can work something out. When would you be available to meet for an interview? There's a couple perks of the job I'm sure you'll appreciate, company cell phones is one of the main things." he is a jerk who calls and never answers. and if you answer the phone, suddenly out of the blue you start receiving calls from other creditors. could they be connected?

I too got a message form a strong indian accent man. I didnt get his name. He told me I had to call him or have my attorney call him the second I hear this message. I didnt call back with the number he left, but did try the 800 number. and did talk with a david brown who was an attorney if california. When he wanted me to verify my social security number I refused and he said that he could no longer speak to me. and hung up

This is the umpteenth telephone number the company has used. It's likely regarding a credit card debt that's at least 20 years old. Apparently they've also called my mother, since I lived with her for a while during the early 1990's. Portfolio also did some "short" reviews of my credit report last year. If they have my address, why not send me a letter? Guess it costs too much to send letters to everyone for whom they have worthless debts.
